Pastors trained in Youth EE turn Thomasville, GA right side up

Being a former Youth Pastor of 15+ years, and now a Senior Pastor, I want to let you know how important and awesome Youth Evangelism Explosion is both to our Church, myself, and especially the teens in our youth group.
God has just started using Youth EE as a ministry tool and catalyst to spark a revival in our church.
When God brought me to Calvary Baptist Church four years ago, the church was primarily a dead, ‘social club,’ man-run church and as the pastor I never ‘liked’ soul winning. It was the last thing on my agenda and the first thing dropped due to ‘lack of time’. I believed that God would bring the people in to hear the Gospel, ignoring the whole time His commands to, “Go and make disciples” and “invite & compel them to come in.”
This past summer, our Youth Pastor, took our young people to camp. While there, God broke our teens' hearts regarding reaching the lost and impacting their school for Jesus Christ.
Here at Calvary Baptist Church we learned in Experiencing God that God is always at work around us, and that we are to join Him where He is working.) I realized, along with the elders, that we must join God where He was working in the lives of our young people and get them equipped to reach the lost. On a Sunday night, 15 teens met with a desire and commitment to become equipped to reach the lost through EE. Many said, “even if we can’t become certified, we still want to learn how”.
We contacted Sandy at Youth EE and the week we spent in Ft. Lauderdale was life changing as we were trained in Youth EE. The training, love, care, and excitement of the staff at Coral Ridge, the young people there as trainers, with their desire to equip others to reach the lost is beyond words. Words can’t express the bonds formed, positive interaction, and professional, yet practical training we received that week. As a pastor I truly LOVE the Youth EE outline. It is effective for teens AND adults.
In the last five weeks, 50 people have heard the gospel with 15+ having trusted Christ as their personal Savior, many led to the Lord by our teenagers. PLUS…our teens have actively begun sharing Christ at their public high school (with three professions of faith during school) as well as sparking our adults to begin doing the same.
Only eternity will tell how much Youth EE has impacted a world for Jesus Christ. If I could urge every pastor, youth pastor, youth leader, and teen in America, it would be to attend a Youth EE Clinic and begin implementing Youth EE in your, no, God’s churches today!
God using Youth EE has changed my life as a pastor, our youth pastor’s, our youth group, and our church to HIS glory! Our teens are now excited about preparing to attend a summer mission trip to train other pastors, etc. overseas next year.

Invest your money where it will do eternal good in the lives of young people and leaders equipping them to reach the lost and to equip others to do the same.
